Wendy Kaplan is Department Head and Curator, Decorative Arts and Design, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Wendy is a leading expert on late 19th to mid 20th-century design, and one of the co-curators of California Design, 1930–1965: Living in a Modern Way, which was recently on display at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki.
Wendy will be in Wellington next week, and will be presenting two talks at Te Papa.

- Prior to her lecture, Wendy will join Te Papa curator Justine Olsen in the exhibition Ngā Toi І Arts Te Papa at 5.30pm to discuss the enduring influence of some of the icons of mid 20th-century Californian design.
