One of the best things about working in the cultural sector is getting to meet amazing people. Dame Suzie Moncrieff, the founder of the World of WearableArt™, is just one of those people – gutsy, visionary and determind. This week we get to share her.
On Saturday 21 September from 1 to 2pm, Suzie will present a public talk at Te Papa. She’ll take you behind the scenes of World of WearableArt™, reveal some of the highs and lows of its 25 year history, including the surprise of becoming an ‘accidental businesswoman’, and share a little of what the future holds for the World of WearableArt™.
