NZ Birds Online is the website for you!

Created in collaboration between Te Papa, DOC and OSNZ, NZ Birds Online is an online encyclopaedia of birds packed full of stunning pictures, detailed information and beautiful bird calls. Take a look at some of the fantastic images on the website:

You can use NZ Birds Online to identify a bird that you’ve spotted, print a ticklist of birds from a particular location (great if you’re going birdwatching), or simply listen to the sounds of some of New Zealand’s native birds.
