		<description><![CDATA[Kia ora Lara. And you should be proud, Wi Tako was one of our great statesman. The writing compendium is on public exhibition now in the new Ngā Toi Arts Te Papa exhibition programme, Level 5. 
My great-great grandfather, who was a generation younger, was Wi Tako&#039;s secretary (protege), and appointed to the Legislative Council later the same year and represented the Western Maori electorate in parliament.
