Hi there, we have been trying to see what we can find on the Oamaru houses. So far regarding 1) Elvingston ” Stone 1912 lists Elvingston as a suburb of Oamaru (Weston turnoff) the residence of Mr and Mrs Arthur Hay Maude. Sontes 1934 notes the name change to Maudes Rd.” We will keep searching … From the North Otago Museum archive

what an awesome eye you have Victoria – no 12 the old fence still in the street view! great work on no. 8 – Dixon Park in Greymouth – its hard to imagine the need for an Italian Consulate in Greymouth. Sad the building has been replaced now.
