    Just happened on your blog. This is the Andrew Whittle who painted the wedding dress replying. I can’t believe I painted all those dresses now, each one would take nearly a month of working from Dawn to dusk! But they did look amazing when finished and quite a few were photographed for Vogue. I think there is one in the Vogue book of Fashion in the 20 th century, floor length cloak completely covered in wild flowers…

    Lovely to hear from you! The coat has been very popular, and I have to say if I could have my pick from the show for my personal wardrobe, Rajputana would be it. Thank you for the additional information – the painting process was even more labour intensive than imagined, but the overall effect well worth it. How many coats were in the collection?
