Prof Fordyce is looking at evolution and systematics (looking at the modern whale to better understand the ancestral whales)
Dr Reidenberg specializes in comparative anatomy of the respiratory tract.  She is examining this very unusual specimen to get a better understanding of adaptation in mammals to aquatic life.]]></description>
